Women, Work, and the Platform Economy: A Global South Perspective

Technology and platforms are transforming our lives and work. Within this transformative landscape, important questions arise regarding the experiences of women in the evolving labor market. However, the answers to these questions diverge significantly between the Global North and the Global South. This event, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the JustJobs Network, will focus on the perspective of the Global South and will also mark the online launch of our signature volume on Women, Work, and the Platform Economy.
