JustJobs Network and the Skill Development & Technical Education Department (SD&TE), Government of Odisha, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Hon'ble Minister, SD&TE, Government of Odisha; Shri Bhupendra Singh Poonia, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, SD&TE, Government of Odisha; and Smt Sabina Dewan, Founder and Executive Director, JustJobs Network.

This partnership marks an important step towards building a future-ready skills system for Odisha, with a strong focus on research, analysis, and actionable insights to improve employment outcomes and workforce development.

Through this MoU, we will partner on:

Conducting research across the education-to-employment continuum — Providing support to strengthen skills, entrepreneurship and career trajectories

Providing support to strengthen skills, entrepreneurship and career trajectories — We will strengthen career counselling, entrepreneurship pathways (especially for women), and mechanisms to align aspirations with opportunities.

Integrating gender and equity in policy — We will embed gender and equity lenses, propose actionable interventions, and ensure research informs state policies and programs.

Building a repository of best practices and innovations from within India and abroad — We will share lessons from Odisha’s experience with other states, while also drawing from innovative practices from within India and globally.

Facilitating policy dialogue — We will produce actionable research to inform state policy and program design as well as implementation.

Together, we aim to strengthen workforce development, enable improved employment outcomes, and build a future-ready skills system for Odisha.
