About

Raghav’s work focusses on understanding labour markets in the global south and socio-economic processes underlying development.

Prior to joining JJN, he worked at the Center for Sustainable Employment at Azim Premji University, where he studied the role of employment guarantee as a social safety net during Covid-19 pandemic. Previously, he has worked with grassroots organizations in the Central Indian Tribal belt on issues related to agrarian livelihoods and common pool resource management.

He completed an MA in Economics from Azim Premji University. He loves cooking, hosting quizzes and solving crosswords.
